4 puppies sleeping in garbage dump burnt alive in Hyderabad

In a horrific instance of cruelty, four puppies near Hyderabad were burnt alive on Saturday. it’s not known who, or how many individuals set the Saturday on fire. The police are examining CCTV footage of the area to seek out who is liable for carrying out such an inhuman act.

The puppies were set on fire while their mother watched helplessly, howling, and trying to save her newborns. She was later seen crying close to the dead puppies.

Photos and videos of the deplorable incident were soon shared on social media and instant messaging platforms, and triggered public outrage. Locals in the area alerted an animal rights group nearby, who sent a community animal protector to the place of the incident.

When the protector reached the area, he saw one of the pups still alive. He hurried to save lots of it. whereas 3 puppies had already died, he managed to rescue the fourth and provide some urgent medication. He then took the puppy to the vet.

The puppy, however, died later that evening at a veterinary clinic.

The ‘People For Animals’ activist then registered a police case under the Prevention of Cruelty Act and below the Indian penal code, following that the police began an investigation and started examining the CCTV footage in the area.

Several acts of cruelty against animals have been highlighted in recent years.

In a similar incident 2 years ago, newborn pups were burnt alive in a different neighbourhood in Hyderabad. a few children, in their teens, tied the pups along and lit a bonfire around them. The incident, that happened in July 2016, was filmed. The boys were arrested later.

Nana Patekar Sexually Harassed Me, No One Spoke Up: Tanushree

After speaking about how the #MeToo struck Bollywood several years ago, Tanushree Datta has gone ahead and named her alleged harasser. In an interview with Zoom TV, the actor spoke about the incident which happened in 2008 on the sets of Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss. Tanushree accused Nana Patekar of wanting to touch her inappropriately while shooting an intimate song sequence in the film, even though it was not mentioned in her contract.

“I want to take names – actor Nana Patekar, producer Sami Siddiqui, director Rakesh Sarang and choreographer Ganesh Acharya. When Nana Patekar misbehaved with me, he voiced out that he would do an intimate step with me as well in the song, which wasn’t mentioned in my contract. It was supposed to be a solo sequence of mine,” said Tanushree Datta in an interview with Zoom TV.

She also said that when she voiced her concerns, no one on set paid heed. Added to that, not one person from the film fraternity condemned Nana Patekar’s actions, said Tanushree.

“When I had complained about the same to the producer director, and told them to ask him (Nana Patekar) to stay away from me, they didn’t pay heed. Just because I was new to the film industry, whether or not it was required, let’s do an intimate scene with her”. –Tanushree Datta

In a previous interview with News18, Tanushree spoke about how the Bollywood film fraternity did not stand up for her.

“The entire industry saw what happened but there was not one word of condemnation from anybody. Every single person in this country remembers my incident and this was something on national TV for three days but even today there’s a stoic silence on that. So, my question is, ‘Who is going to believe these hypocrites?’ These are the people who stand up and raise their voice against women empowerment,” she said.

When the incident made headlines in 2008, Nana Patekar had categorically refuted the claims.

“Tanushree is my daughter’s age and I have no clues about what made her say such things about me. I have been a part of this film industry since the last 35 years and haven’t had anyone saying such things about me ever,” addressed Nana in a press conference in 2008.

After Tanushree refused to shoot the item song with Nana in 2008, the producers were quick to replace the actor with Rakhi Sawant.

SC Lashes Out at Manoj Tiwari For Violating its Order on Sealing

The Supreme Court on Tuesday took strong exception to BJP’s Delhi chief and MP Manoj Tiwari for allegedly violating its directions on the sealing of illegal structures in the national capital and said that being an MP does not give him liberty to take the law in his hands.

Tiwari was present before the court in pursuance to the contempt notice issued to him for allegedly breaking the seal of a premises which was being run in violation of the Delhi Master Plan.

The apex court expressed its anguish against his statement in which he had said that the monitoring committee was not sealing thousands of illegal structures and directed him to file an affidavit within a week.

A bench headed by Justice Madan B. Lokur asked the BJP leader to explain his claims made to a news channel related to the Delhi sealing matter.

“Mr Tiwari, in your CD, you say there are 1,000 places which deserve to be sealed. Give us a list of these places. We will make you the sealing officer,” said the bench, also comprising Justices S. Abdul Nazeer and Deepak Gupta.

Tiwari, who is an MP from northeast Delhi constituency has an FIR against him by the East Delhi Municipal Corporation for allegedly breaking the seal of a premises in Gokalpuri area in Delhi.

Senior advocate Vikas Singh, appearing for Tiwari, said that no seal was broken by the BJP leader and he himself being an MP has not ever disrupted the sealing process. The lawyer said he needed time to file a detailed reply in the matter.

“We are asking you, have you seen the CD? In the CD he says there are thousand places which deserve to be sealed. As a member of parliament, he cannot take liberty to take law in his hands,” the court said.

The court directed Tiwari to appear on October 3 when it will next hear the matter.
